BONSAI WORKSHOP

MAKE YOUR OWN BONSAI TREE!

Saturday, June 16th / 1:30-4:30 PM

Gary Gabelhouse has cultivated Bonsai Trees for thirty years.  He will present a brief historical and cultural perspective of the art of Bonsai.  Afterwards, Gabelhouse will demonstrate--step-by-step--using a large nursery specimen--how to turn a nursery shrub into a traditional Bonsai.

After the demonstration, all workshop participants will receive their own one-gallon Juniper and a traditional bonsai pot as well as all the necessary potting materials and tools.  Under Gabelhouse's direction each will make a finished bonsai tree to display on site and take home that evening.  A Care and Feeding tip sheet will also be given to participants.

There will be a limit of 20 workshop participants.  The workshop's cost is only $20.
